Come learn to identify big trees for the Official New Jersey Big Tree Registry, a compilation of the largest native and naturalized tree species throughout the state, with Joseph Bennett, New Jersey State Assistant Regional Forester. The Registry’s trees have been nominated by New Jersey residents and have environmental, aesthetic, genetic and even historic value, which may make them eligible for conservation, preserving them for future generations.
